Zoom Time

Are we running in place? It seems we haven’t moved for the last 4 months. Covid just hit 200,000 and counting. Jobs are going away for many. And summer is almost over and school started, sort of. We continue to get random tweets, and leadership is where you find it. Ten months ago, I didn’t know what Zoom was, now I do. It is a life line to people and what and how we do things. I have experimented with a couple of round table events with panelists using Zoom. One on Race, and one on Voting. They can be seen on the YouTube Channel, An American Mosaic. Also they are on the Podcast, Di-a-logue, An American Mosaic. I also have tried having one on one conversations recording the video with Zoom. Not the same as in person, but it is what it is. We are compromising quality and accepting it. Audio breaking up, video freezing, are the new norms. I guess. Everyone agrees, we are in a shit storm. And we all know about the election coming up. I just had a great real conversation in person, recorded on video a few days ago. Felt almost normal for a moment. The journey continues to discover who we are.
